Alexandra Hodkowski and Alvaro Alcocer are the owners of Head Hi, Brooklyn’s only dedicated architecture and design bookstore. Hodkowski and Alcocer draw from their respective backgrounds in art and art history as they curate monographs, classic design texts, and lesser-known indie and self-published titles.

Michael Brown and Duy Pham are the owners of Speaklow, a vintage store in their Bedford-Stuyvesant floor-through brownstone apartment, where everything is up for sale. Over their years of collecting for their personal collections, they have developed a layered, eclectic, and maximalist vision for their shoppable home.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR, HOUSE OF SHILA

Eftihia Stefanidi is the creative director of Shila and Mona, two boutique hotels in the heart of Athens that are part of the House of Shila hospitality and lifestyle brand. Like a concept store, the projects are outfitted with a rotating curation of art, design objects, and artisanal goods that are all available for purchase during a visit.
